Privacy & Cookies
What this site collects, why, and how to say no. Short version: Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, and only if you say yes.
Last updated: September 2026.
Who we are
This site, epilogueagog.uk, promotes Epilogue-Agog, a graphic novel published by Wall Space North, a trading name of Wanwise Limited (registered in England & Wales, company number 4317623, VAT GB817245824), registered office West 2 Asama Court, Newcastle Business Park, Amethyst Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE4 7YD. For any privacy question, contact info@epilogueagog.uk.
What we collect
This site does not have accounts, logins, or forms. The only data collected is general, aggregated statistics via Google Analytics (GA4) and the Meta Pixel — and only once you've accepted the cookie banner. Google Analytics covers things like which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are browsing from (country/city level, from IP address, which Google truncates), what device and browser they're using, and how they found the site. The Meta Pixel tells us when someone who arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad viewed this site, so we can measure whether our advertising is working; it may also allow Meta to show this site's ads to people with similar browsing patterns. We don't collect names, email addresses, or any way to identify a visitor personally.
If you email us — including via any "contact" link on this site — that's an ordinary email between you and Wall Space North (a trading name of Wanwise Limited), sent from your own email client. The website itself doesn't capture or store anything from that exchange; it's handled the same as any other email you send us.
Cookies used
If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics sets the following:
_ga— distinguishes visitors for reporting purposes. Typically expires after 13 months._ga_<container-id>— used by GA4 to persist session state. Typically expires after 13 months.
The Meta Pixel sets:
_fbp— used by Meta to identify browsers for ad delivery and measurement. Typically expires after 90 days.
No cookies are set if you decline, and no cookies are set before you make a choice either way. The Meta Pixel is used for advertising measurement (retargeting is not currently switched on, but Meta's own tools make this possible from the same Pixel).
Legal basis
Analytics cookies are non-essential, so under UK PECR and UK GDPR we rely on your consent — given via the cookie banner — as the legal basis for setting them. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see "Your choices" below), and Google Analytics simply won't run.
Third parties
Google Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Limited (and/or Google LLC). Google acts as a data processor on our behalf for this purpose. You can read Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy, and opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide (on any website, not just this one) using Google's browser opt-out add-on.
Meta Pixel data is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (and/or Meta Platforms, Inc.), who act as a data processor for this purpose but may also use signals gathered this way for their own advertising purposes, as set out in Meta's own policies. You can read Meta's data policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy, and manage how Meta uses your data for ads via Meta's Ad Preferences if you have a Facebook or Instagram account, or opt out of interest-based advertising site-wide via Your Online Choices (EU/UK) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (US).
How long we keep it
Analytics data is retained in line with our Google Analytics account settings. We don't otherwise hold or export personal data from Analytics.
Your choices
You can change your cookie choice at any time:
Because we hold no personal data about you directly, most UK GDPR rights (access, correction, deletion) are best exercised with Google directly for anything Analytics has collected. For anything else — including any email you've sent us — just ask at info@epilogueagog.uk and we'll sort it.
Children
Epilogue-Agog is recommended for readers 13 and up. We don't knowingly collect data from children, and Google Analytics is configured for aggregate statistics only.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects ever changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change accordingly.
